Pearn Fine Jewels - is a personal service for jewellery, directed
by Jacqueline Pearn who is a qualified gemmologist with over 20
years experience.
She commenced as a jewellery specialist in Sotheby's Bond Street
in 1984 and was on the team that worked on the Elton John
and Duchess of Windsor's Jewellery sales. In 1993, she
was appointed by Phillips, London (now Bonhams) as a senior
International Jewellery Valuer and had cataloguing responsibility
for sales in London and Geneva. She also undertook valuations
both in Europe and the United States of America. In 2000 she set
up us an independent jewellery consultant and specialist dealer.
During her career she worked as a specialist jewellery consultant
for a number of UK auction houses including Hampton's International.
She has also organised exhibitions at Sherborne in Dorset
and Arundel in West Sussex and Woburn Abbey in
Bedfordshire. Currently she is holding an
exhibition at Cerne Abbas in Dorset. She has a gallery
open by private appointment in Tenbury Wells in
Worcestershire.
Jacqueline is a fourth generation jewellery dealer. Her great-grandfather
Frank Henry Miles (1868 - 1950) was a leading London silversmith
and jeweller. He established the family jewellery business Woollards
in Bayswater, London, which traded from 1870 - 1951.
The website provides
a market place for a wide selection of wearable antique
jewellery for both the collector and the enthusiast.
